For Key West Participants, Stay Fit Studio will be leading training sessions for the swim,
bike and run portions of TRIKW. These training sessions will start around mid April-early May.

A special rate at a designated lodging establishment in Key West will be offered to TRIKW participants.
The Following IMPORTANT Items Pertain to TRIKW.
- There will be no race number pick up on race day. You must pick up your race number and materials the day before the race at the Marriott Beachside Resort in Key West, FL
- There is no required bike check for TRIKW. If you need assistance with your bike while you are in Key West we recommend contacting one of the local bike shops
- Bring your valid USA Triathlon license and picture ID to race number pick-up. If you do not have your valid USA Triathlon card with you and have not registered as a non USA Triathlon member, you will be required to purchase a one-day license at the event
- You are required to attend one of the pre-race meetings the day before your race. Valuable information regarding the event will be presented at these meetings and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the event
- Start with your assigned wave and rack your bike in your assigned rack. If you fail to do either of these you will be penalized or disqualified. You are NOT allowed to start in any swim wave other than your own - no exceptions!
- Wetsuits will be allowed if the water temperature is below 78 degrees Fahrenheit, in accordance with USA Triathlon rules. The water temperature is expected to be between 72 and 76 degrees
- Make sure that you properly wear your race numbers (for all races) and timing chip (for all races). You will receive three numbers at packet pick-up. The sticker numbers go on the front of your bike helmet and on the top tube of your bike, just behind the handlebars. The bib number must be worn on the front of your body during the entire run portion of the event. You will be body marked on race morning before the swim.
- The roads are closed to traffic except at intersections. Ride on the right hand side of the road unless instructed otherwise by a police officer of a race official as if the road is open as there will be two way bike traffic in one lane. Take extra care when passing other riders. Please discourage your friends and family members from driving on the race course while the race is in progress.
- Spectators will not be allowed into the transition areas.
- Do not park on the race course or in private parking lots or your car may be towed.
- Please help our volunteers keep the City of Key West clean and the residents of the area happy by discarding rubbish (gel packets, water bottles, banana peels, wrappers, cups, etc.) at the aid stations while racing.
