Welcome to the official website of the inaugural Key West Triathlon!

This will be the first ever Triathlon held in the Southernmost City in the United States. When you read about what's in store for all competitors, including the beauty of visiting Key West, you'll want to sign up today and participate in this end of season Tri event.

Get ready for TRIKW on Sunday, December 5, 2010. You'll swim in the warm Gulf of Mexico waters on the first leg of the triathlon. You will then transition to the bike portion as you head North on the scenic Overseas Highway surrounded by water. Head onto the Naval Air Station Key West at Boca Chica and complete two loops as you head South back to Key West. Finish TRIKW by running along the Atlantic Ocean with the breath taking sites always in view.

The weekend of events starts on Saturday, December 4, with a two day TRIKW EXPO featuring participating local, regional and national companies. Couple that with a pre-triathlon dinner, and the fact you're in Key West, and you'll know why this will be an event to remember.

Program for TRIKW competition

• Olympic Triathlon (1.5k swim/40k bike/10k run) USAT Member $125, Non USAT Member $135 - includes $10 one day USA Tri membership

• Sprint Triathlon (750k swim/20k bike/5k run) USAT Member $75, Non USAT Member $85 - includes $10 one day USA Tri membership

• Relay Olympic Triathlon $225 (Each relay member must show proof of USAT Membership. If a member does not have a USAT license, they must purchase a one day license for $10 on race day

• Relay Sprint Triathlon $150 (Each relay member must show proof of USAT Membership. If a member does not have a USAT license, they must purchase a one day license for $10 on race day
